Well got a local car show this weekend, it's the start of a week long local celebrations. So I've got to get the 400 and our 350z GT4 ready for showing. I finished night shift this morning and noticed the zed which was cleaned yesterday was filthy due to the high winds lastnight.. So as I parked my wee car up I went to the back of the drive and started hosing off the zed.. Eventually got in the house at 6.50am to be met by the wife asking " what were you doing, we're you washing the car". "yes the Zed was filthy so I hosed it off". You want to have seen her face, probably the same expression my neighbours would have had while making there breakfasts while watching me sadly hosing the dirty zed off !
I got up at lunchtime to wash the 400, then it started to p@@s down, so I continued to sud it up, then a wee lul so I wiped the water off and returned it to the garage to finish wiping it off... what's with this weather, it's May!
The reason for today's madness, the weathers supposed to be fairly poor all week and I really need to get these motors cleaned n buffed for the weekend.. So tomoz, polish the TIV in the garage, as it's a bit more important to have that looking good than the zed but it's always the zed that wins prizes...
So if yer in the Penicuik area on Sunday pop along to the Subaru Garage where on the forecourt the car show will start from 11am ish... There's usually a great turn out, old, modern, street racer and american street rod not to mention old classic motorcycles...
May the buffing continue !!!!
Then Monday the TIV has to be mot'd. Fingers n legs crossed.
