Tonight I have been checking the ECU set up (Used Mikesr's methodology). Not there yet, but I think I am close.... One area of concern is when I pulled the adaptive tables for both banks they were exactly the same.... I had reset the adaptives 10 mins before. Will double check this tomorrow..

I think I could increase tick over at rest slighty and Lamda 1 is tracking at a higher value than Lamda 2 peaking at 1.3 sometimes. real time when the car is running the adaptives are close with Adaptives 1 in general peaking slightly higher.

Any comments appreciated, would you just leave it at that or try and get closer. To be honest not sure what tolerences I am working to.

How is the car running on the road? Is there any reason why you want to play with them?

It is running fine, the throttles were not running together so corrected that. I replaced the throttle bar end linkages so making sure the throttles are aligned and the rest is all as it should be. I am now borrowing a synchrometer at the weekend.

I have recently done the shims (which were way out) and the cam timing so this is the next part of the challenge and desire for perfection..

The throttle pots should only be together if the airflow is the same in each bank. Just making the throttle pot readings match across banks is just as likely to be setting them wrong as right. Bear in mind the throttle pot is only giving the ECU (all be it indirectly) an indication of the air flowing into each bank so making the pots read the same is not an end in its self, unless the banks are flowing the same (or you have zero adaptive on both banks)

Follow the procedure in the engine section of the workshop manual precisely and you will end up with it setup correctly.
