Anyone got a recommendation for a carpet trimmer within, Warwick, Birmingham, Coventry triangle.

I am looking to get the carpets of my Chim professionally re-trimmed

Give Dave the Trimmer a ring, He's in the Milton Keynes area, a nice guy and does outstanding work at reasonable prices.

Cheers KSV, I'll keep that in mind, Dave's about 60/70 miles away, I am hoping to find someone a bit closer to me.

Have heard several good things about him from others too, so thanks again anyway.

My T350 is currently with Central TVR and amongst other things is having a full re-carpet.
Chimaera here - http://www.centraltvr.com/product/chimaera-re-carp...

I'm trying to find someone in the Midlands also so this is a useful post.
I have the carpet set already from Coverdale but so far i've been quoted about £500 just for fitting?? i'm thinking that seems way to much?

The price from Central in my link above was £550 plus VAT for removal of current, supply and refit of new so £500 for fitting only sems a lot.

Zippee,

I spoke to a chap in Blackpool who quoted me £270. I've stripped the whole car down myself, put in any insulation/sound deadening i want to. Now....i've bought a roll of the carpet that coverdale use and not the actual kit. The price he was quoting me was to cut and fit all the carpet that i had bought. I wasn't massively keen on driving to blackpool but there's nothing that comes near to that price round here so it'll be cheaper for me to drive there to get it fitted and drive back..... might be worth a though. I can try and find the number if you'd like ?

Mines a T350 so a more complicated re-trim, plus it's being done as part of a lot of other work but thankyou all the same.

Brett,

I've just had a look on my phone and can't find anything but i THINK it was this chap .... http://www.thetrimtechnician.com/contact.htm

If i'm wrong appologies but it's probably worth giving him a call to see. One guy that i called for a price said "just drive it to blackpool, you won't get it cheaper than that anywhere else".

AJ

What have you started???

Perhaps we should do a bulk order?

As the guy is ex TVR, I am happy just to let him do it all - and that includes removing seats etc smile

Nosh

PS - a TVR beano to Blackpool sounds like a good larf - drop cars off, cheep hotel, beers in the evening, pick up cars next day and job is a good un smile
