Well how lucky am I. I walked into my garage tonight and the 3 bikes that were on a rack next to my car had pulled the screws out of the wall and the bikes were hanging perilously close to the bonnet and wing. In fairness they should have been on the bonnet, but weren't?? They seemed to be suspended in mid-air and then I looked closer and where they had dropped off the wall the middle bike had impaled itself on a broom handle between the back tyre and frame. The broom had then wedged itself on a bike that was on the floor stopping all the bikes crashing into my car.

So the question is, should I play the euromillions lottery tomorrow

I agree about the screws, except it has hung there for 8 years and I regularly check. I wish I had a pic, but I was in a rush to get the car out and did not think. It was one of those surreal moments.

I will not be putting the bikes back now, too afraid to push my luck......

As you can gather my two bikes landed on the car.
Bike rack had been there for 6 + years
