I have just traded in TVR Chimera for 04 911 carrera cab. Must admit to being excited about picking it up at weekend. No doubt will be a big difference in these,will miss the V8 exhaust noise.

the flat 6 on your 996 sounds much more special - enjoy

As has been said, the flat 6 has its own distinctive sound which I'm sure you'll grow to love (especially with the roof down).

Er, no they don't - try comparing a C6 Corvette (Thor gargling with nails) to an E92 M3 (slight muted warble)... Chalk and cheese!

Flat 6 is still best though!

Must admit that thought had occurred to me.. Everybody always helpful when in TVR .

Will enjoy it and hope to use this a lot as other half did not like going in TVR
