Thought i'd show my car history in pictures.
First car was a 1990 1.0 popular plus fiesta, no pics of that though.
2nd car was my 205 xs.......

Then my 106 1.6 xsi (rare car), excuse the poor wheels and possibly iffy ride height, but in my defense, i was only 18/19 and it was the early 2000's, most people my age had nova's with massive body kits...

Ended up like this after a drink driver hit me head on........

Then i got another mk3 fiesta run around, no pics again, then into my 309 gti.....

Then i got the cossie, and so needed a run about.......

But that didn;t stay standard long and ended up like this.........

I got fed up of that blowing up, and swapped it for an escort van, which was crap, so i got rid of that and got my first RWD...... an e36 325 TDS se, that got skidded everywhere, i can't find any pics of it, but just imagine a red snotter of a bmw.

Then i spotted this and just had to buy it, it was £350!!! Genuine 42k on the clock, tax and tested and pretty solid. And it was a Ghia.

didn;t do much other than mondy rims.....

then i fancied a diesel again, so bought a 306 hdi, terrible car, don't buy one.

Then i wanted some rev's again, and what better way then with a vtec?
This car was ridiculously good, went very, very well (not sure that it was standard, to be honest) LSD as standard, awesome handling for a mid sized car, and mega comfortable, plus it's a honda, so it never broke.

Only sold it due to the insurance renewal being a bit pricey at £800

Then i got an astra van for my bike's, that was crap, i always buy crap van's.

So i got another 306, this time, a gti-6, far, far better than the hdi

and last but not least, the cossie, had it nearly 7 years, and it's evolved somewhat in that time......

Hope you approve, i know some of them will be frowned upon!
Sorry the all the pictures, i am a picture we.

I like the 309 and the Civic. Such a shame they spoiled the latter with such a hideous interior, otherwise it would be a truly great car. The 309's interior in the Civic would be an awesome combo!

I think my hdi was just a bad example, it was so slow it struggled o cruise at 80 mph if you reached a hill, it was that underpowered it made it bad on fuel because you had to thrash it everywhere, a few bit's and bob's that made me dislike it, i love the gti-6 though.

The 205 was a 1.8 dTurbo, which blew up, so i fitted a 1.9 dTurbo out of a 306, with a garret T2, the allard sport front mount, bosch fuel pump, 24 psi of boost and loads of fuel, it was probably the best fun car i've had, had Gaz gold suspension on it and all kind's of tweaks.

Thanks for the comments.

I don't really know why. But I really like the look of that 309.

Some great cars, you have fking horrendous taste in wheels though!!!

Comedy ride heights on some as well.

Cossie looks nice. My first car was a 205 XS, brilliant fun and cheap as chips.

the 106 wheels are not good, but it was 8 years ago, as said, and the civic wheels are what it came with, frigging hideous things, i did buy standard ones for it but sold the car before i fitted them, i don't think any of the other wheel choices are bad? Oh, the xs had 1.9 rims on, but i sold them before i sold the car wink

I think it's probably a mixture of things for me - a lot of them don't seem to suit the period, the Cossie (?) wheels on the Orian for instance. For me, they just look too new, while the car is really angular.

The 307 wheels look much too large for the 306 IMO, and not a fan of the 106 wheels on the 205 either!! Although both 205s could have looked better if they were lower IMO.

Sierra looks bloody good though. Like the 309 too. Actually, I like all the cars except the Orian! Have always had a soft spot for French hot hatches, or even the mild ones. smile

That's fair enough, that picture of the 306 does make the wheels look massive, it didn't look like that in the flesh.
And i can see where you are coming from on the orion front (they're mondeo wheels) I really liked them at the time, and they where cheap!
and like i said about the 205, they where only on it for me to sell it, it used to have 1.9 gti rims on it smile
309 was a brilliant car, loved that thing.

Loving the cossie and 309, although none are hideous. The diesel 205 looks like it would have been a right laugh.

The 205 was amazing, so much torque it would just pull up anything, i also love the way they handle with the slightly heavier derv lump in.

Love the 309, looked mint and always had 'a thing' for those! Also like the 306 GTI, had a go in a friend's and amazing how well they shift with the 6 speed box eek. What model was that Civic? Looks nice in the front 1/4 shot with the multi spoke wheels smile
