Lotus Elise S2 Buying Guide?

Anybody know where I can find reliable information to help me negotiate the minefield I'm sure to encounter if I go for an S2? I've found one that's done 45,000 for example - is that considered high mileage for a high-performance vehicle like the Elise? Obviously I could trawl through Google to find this sort of information but I thought I'd ask you knowledgeable folk first!

You'd be better off on seloc.org for that sort of thing really.

There are lotus types around here (lots of people have IDs for both) but seloc is really the ticket for elise stuff.

45k is barely broken in! if its a k series history would be a bonus and do not know a great deal about the Toyota engines but I gather they are better than the k series.
