Supercar Experience days
Discussion
Hey all,
I see everyone recommends Palmersport.
For better or worse, I bought the wife an experience day with Everyman Racing. I'm hoping that they won't nanny her around, but it's done now.
Please could I have some advice on which track I should be trying to book? This might depend on what type of drive she's after and the cars, but perhaps one with the longest straight to max out (as far as possible?). I would like her to get the most out of the experience as possible (obviously
)
She will be in an Audi R8 and a Porsche (presume a 911, not sure which), 4 laps apiece.
Choices are:
Dunsfold (Surrey - Weekends Only)
Elvington (York)
Long Marston (Stratford Upon Avon)
Prestwold Driving Centre (Leicestershire)
Pro Drive (Warwickshire)
Blyton Park (Lincolnshire - Weekdays Only)
Lydden Hill (Kent - Weekends Only)
Llandow (Wales - Weekends Only)
We live in Shropshire, so closer to there would be better, but if there is one track that is clearly superior, I don't mind travelling.
Thanks.

Definitely Prestwold or Prodrive, avoid Long Marston. Prestwold's very novice friendly, turn two (elephant) takes a bit of getting used to first time you drive it though. Prodrive's very good, albeit a bit bumpy and with a couple of tight chicanes that some people really dislike. Good car choice too!
Hi all,
She really enjoyed it. As RovingHawk said, the instructors were really good, made her feel comfortable, and best of all, kept encouraging her to put her foot down
(although she was a bit tentative at the begining). The matte black 911 was in a Gumball (has the livery at any rate), and the instructor seemed to think it was a GT2. She enjoyed the R8 more because it was a manual, and felt more involving.
Anyway, all good!
