Morning All,

Currently my car has a private plate on (please refrain from burning me for this) it was an 18th present!
I've sent the V5 & relevant documents off to my local DVLA office to put it on retention.
However i've found a car i really want & would like to get mine up for sale ASAP.
(I have photocopies of the V5 i sent away & a tracking receipt from RM).
Do you think it'd put off a lot of buyers buying without a V5?

Can't say I know anyone who'd buy a car without the V5 being present and correct - I think most people would either wait until you've got it, or walk.

That's what i thought, i'll probably just hang on until it comes back from the DVLA!

I've bought without but I'm in the minority.

Advertise it and I'm sure most would leave a £100 deposit as long as you / your house look respectable.
