Well it took a while to get sorted out, but it was well worth the wait!!. I can't believe the difference, the car 'feels' like it has much more power, revs so much better if fact feels it feels like a different car.

Many thanks to George and Adrian

Have you got the 964RS lightened flywheel too? It forces you to learn to make snappy gear changes to preserve the engine revs. Very satisfying after the first few poor changes. Enjoy the clutch!

This is good to hear. I've got a standard flywheel & clutch on mine, and with about 50k on it I'm expecting to be changing it in the next 12 months. I've been leaning towards the RS kit; its a weekend car so I dont really need the driveability of the dual-mass flywheel and I'd prefer the sportier feel of the lightened one.

Have you changed the ECU chip as well?

Update.....

Guys many thanks of the comments, well 700 miles in I can report its great, a little extra noise )not bothered about that) but really revvy (is that a word) and responsive, have not stalled it once, have no ecu work done although am thinking of heading down the Motec route at the end of the month
