Having spent ages trying to determine what to have done to my exhaust, I'd finally come the conclusion that just removing the wadding was for me.

Garage called me yesterday, having had the car for a week for service and stuff, with a "list" of things that needed doing.

On the matter of the exhaust mod - turns out my Chims got a Griff exhaust, and it needs replacing anyway. So no exhaust mod.

Does it matter that you have a Griff system? I thought the only difference was in the tailpipe angle and length. Surely they can still cut the box open.

And even if there is a good reason and you have a new exhaust - get them to mod it before they fit it.

BB - arguably still has, not changed exhaust yet At least the Griff guys might talk to me at the weekend (Griff Growl)

Dodger - according to Peninsula ........ needs replacing soon. Might just get an indie to rip it open for now.

It actually doesn't fit right - the tailpipes are not both at the same level.

The pipes can be levelled up with a bit of adjustment of the mounting bushes and/or twisting at the joint between exhaust and downpipe at the front. Half hour job if you have access to a ramp or a pit, just two bolts and a clamp stand between you and level pipes!
