Hi Peeps..Whilst i was at the ACE last night my Clock, Hazards, Interior curteousy lights have stopped working, They are all on the same circuit so i checked the fuses and all are ok...I did find a wire that had become detatched from the bullet connector and i thought ..Ah ha..Thats the problem so i re-fitted a connector but the problem still persists, I went to a local auto-electrician and he only had time to do a quick test but apparently there is no live feed to the fuse itself..So i will be out there cutting all the cable ties and inspecting all the wires..What a pain..The clock stopped at 19.28pm last night, Thing was the car was stationery and the ignition was off?..strange..Oh well fingers crossed that i find it..Cheers..Ziga

When I loose something or there is an electrical malfunction I always think of what I did last connected with that problem. You recently changed your indicator stalks. Maybe the connections have a problem or you knocked a wire to make it intermittent. Just a suggestion but go over any recent work.

Cheers Tony..I pulled all the fuse box and the relay board out, The centre console and the wiring underneath the dash...I traced it back to a wire that had become detatched from the connector..It was a bit of a pain to get at but i sorted it...Cheers..Ziga

The wiring under the glove box is a bit of a nightmare as its just suspended from the engine bay and potentially about to disconnect from the fuses/relays , wish I could bolt the fuse/relay block to something solid !

My fuse box is behind a piece of panel in the back of the glovebox that you can take off, i think some previous owner did that.

I have the fuses like that as well and thus the glove compartment is useless (only for gloves wink ) as it is so shallow.
Ok have spare fuses and a couple of tools in there, to make the most of it.
On mine it looks like it was done at the factory (same quality finish as the rest of the wedge).

Yeah that position is fairly standard for 350i's around the '86 era. It's a pain though when the lid latch buggers up just when you need to get at a fuse - happened to me once.

Then later they moved to the passenger footwell as I recall - so the glovebox is bigger but you have to have a screwdriver in it to get at the fuses below....
