I wonder if this one will go as quickly given the rarity of the colour:

The main point I was alluding to here was that this must have been a special order as white was not a standard colour for the Gen 1 RS.

Prices ticking up as the weather improves and the rarity of the 997.1 RS starts to bite.

Not initially, but it was offered as a standard option later in the model run due to pressure (IIRC) from the American market. I think it was about a £2.5k option though (and again IIRC if specced came without decals), but I am sure that someone on here who bought one can probably supply the exact number. What was a special order is silver with black (rather than orange) accents and decals. They are rarer than white ones, though may not actually be rarer than the standard option of silver and orange.....

There were 5 RHD white 997.1 RS produced. I have one, another is being sold right now by OPC,...I think there is one up north and another south london.
Don't know if Sean Edward sold his (London based) - he uses it for track rental

I have driven the white track rental one, not sure it was sean lockyears car? Well looked after but its had a hard life, number plate ended in LBS.
