Carbon FIbre Keys
Discussion
Hi - usually hang out in the 'hairy chest' forum - so excuse the intrusion!!
I'm having some Carbon Fibre keys made up - as I got fed up with my old plastic Vauxhall key. They are only realy suitable for cars from around 1995'ish - can't remember when they changed over to all-in-one fobs, etc. I used to have a Chimaera about 10 years ago that was an M reg and it had the same type of key as this.
Any way, if you're key looks the same style and you're interested, they are going to be about £20-£25 each. Little expensive, but quite a bit has to go into making them (CNC, paint infill, high temp epoxy bonding, etc.) Drop me a PM if you're interested, probably looking at a couple of weeks until they're ready. Purely a 'not for profit' enterprise, just covering costs.
Key in images is the prototype that has not yet been bonded together.
