"New Edge" Mustangs - Anyone have experience with them?

Can't remember if the same car.
I drove an 04 convertable mustang, gt v8 obviously.
Fantastic car, of course, I wouldn't know how good it is as an every day sort of car but it had wicked acceleration, handled quite well despite the bull spouted by jeremy and co, made a very nice sound and seemed rather practical for a convertable. I loved every minute I spent in that thing.
The LHD might be annoying, but I wouldn't mind personally.

Ah, that makes it far better. Fuel doesn't cost too much and steering wheel is on the correct side.
I would strongly reccomend that you go for it. It does quite well on long stretches of road, something quite common in canada, it is a popular car without being too common, and when people ask you what you drive, you can tell them its a mustang.
Plus, as my uncle pointed out when we were driving it (he was hanging on for dear life, and taking photos) "just hear that engine roar!"
The one I drove had a 4 speed auto, which was fine. I actually think the auto suits the car better than a manual would-I loved the fact you could just put your foot down, it would drop cogs and then roar off. Low speeds felt a bit weird, probably because I'm not used to an auto and certainly not a v8.

I had a 2001 hardtop GT in (as my wife put it) "pull me over red" with a coffee coloured leather interior.
It didn't like bumps too much but was pretty quick in a straight line - 0 to 60 in under 5.5 seconds.
The lastest ones are a lot faster and handle way better but that is irrelevent if your budget only extends to a 2000 MY. You could always lease though......
