Doing a Drivers Course with these at North Weald in September With Johno and a couple of others.
Any of you guys been on This, who did you find it.
It looks a pretty good

Did this early in the year (in snow!). An excellent day and feel at least some of the lessons learnt will be with me for life. Enjoy it. Tip - treat it like a track day i.e. do all the usual checks beforehand, keep an eye on the oil level during the day, wear driving shoes/boots etc.

SizeNineElm & myself went with 1st Lotus a couple of years back up at Crail in Scotland - I would recommend them to anybody.

I would say not to bother going with new tires however, cos they wont be by the end of the day....

I'm thinking of doing it again, so that I can get used to my new suspension setup.

Cheer's Dave thats a nice little insite into the day, I see theres a few SPUN's in the lap times thats what i like to see, you know you have just gone over the limit then

Had about an inch of snow the night before. It had melted after the first half hour or so. Still v cold and slippy though. Good thing was the tyres didn't suffer at all in the morning when we did all the spinning I was practising a figure of eight in one big slide (almost) - excellent fun!

ISnt it turning the steering wheel without pushing and pulling like you do on your test I let you know, if someone else doesnt enlighten us

A think steering technique would be a better description!

I found this really useful. It refers to crossing your hands and replacing them in exactly the same place on the 'wheel (the 'wheel having gone through one revolution). When you get used to it it is a very effective way of steering quickly.
