How many Ultima's are there?

Got asked this question in work today and I didn't know the answer. I guessed at around 5-600, but does anyone know actually how many Ultimas have been sold and how many are on the road?

My guess estimate is over the 2000 mark. Let's see if the Factory chimes in...

IIRC the factory mentioned 500+

Do we mean current model GTR & Can Ams, or all Ultimas every built? I'm sure on my test drive with Ted last yr he mentioned 1,500+, but I don't know how that was quantified... hopefully Richard will chime in soon

I say ALL type of Ultima built = 2000+

I would say thats a substantial over estimate, but youre unlikely to find out .

Hi yes for the anorak in me id like to know as well, maybe if the factory do add to this thread then a break down of sport and gtr numbers would be good , so whats the guess work? is there more gtr s than sports now ?

What you have to remember is that the number of chassis sold do not equal the number of cars there are out there. Quite a few have never been completed.

My guess is total complete Ultimas is in the region of 1400 to 1500 with maybe 1600+ chassis produced. The total of cars in the UK is probably less than 500.

These would be my guesstimate figures.

I was interested in the total amount including Sports, Can Am's and GTR's. It seems that there are more than I expected from your estimates!

Looks like my Hillman Imp is a rarer beast according to www.howmanyleft.co.uk

My Davrian is even rarer as they only made 600 in total! Maybe I just have a thing for unusual cars! :-)

My Imp Californian doesn't show up on howmanyleft, but there only appears to be less than a hundred of them left. Which Imp do you have?

I think there only about 30 or so spiders ever made, so fairly rare
