Not that I can drive at these speeds, but I have read a number of motoring reports where the top speed of a SLK320 has varied from 143 mph up to 155 mph. There must be a manufacturer claim of a top speed for tis car......what is it ?
According to the UK brochure I have for the R170 model SLK, the max. speed for the SLK 320 is 150 mph for the manual version and 148 mph for the automatic. Comparative figures for the SLK 230K are 146 and 144.
The SLK32 AMG is electronically limited to 155 mph.
