Disabilities/health problems and driving
Discussion
The reason I start this thread is I've just got into work and on the journey I was following a lady in a Fiesta who quite clearly had a severe twitch and it was affecting her driving (no she wasn't just listening to music). Noticed it at the lights when she was moving pretty oddly and then up the road she would twitch and the car would move, not much but still move in the direction she was 'twitching' in. This was fine and controllable for her though and obviously there was no accident.
I did feel un-easy following her though and I thought if she has one severe one she could cause a serious accident and it is because of that I ask whether or not people like this be allowed to be in charge of a vehicle? Sure she was in control but one major twitch and she could easily have swerved out into oncoming traffic.
I know this is harsh but I don't think if you can't be fully in control of a vehicle all the time that you should be allowed to drive due to the safety of others.
