Youtube wirelessley to speakers.
Discussion
I am wiring up some speakers for a friend in his new open plan kitchen/living space. We have 3 zones, one of which is a 5.1 system for the tv with wall mounted speakers, the other zone is a pair of ceiling speakers, one in the kitchen, on in the living space (above the middle of the 5.1 setup, and the third zone is for a pair of outdoor speakers on the rear patio.
I have tried to talk him into a couple of airplay setups or sonos systems and have a media pc under his tv but what he used to do was put on a pair of headphones and go on you tube to play music videos, he now wand to do this through the speaker setups.
I could always wire a stereo jack plug next to where he will sit and he could plug it in but it would be nice to transmit the laptop wirelessley to the ceiling speakers/amp or the 5.1 system depending on where he is sat/stood.
Any ideas on how best to achieve this. On another note, any surround systems for reasonable money that will drive the ceiling/outdoor speakers without the need for a seperate amplifier(s) and/or a speaker zone changeover switch.

Not entirely sure I can picture quite what you mean, but how does he think he's going to get YouTube through the speakers? What's he accessing YouTube on?
The easiest way would probably be to add an AppleTV in, and use that for YouTube.
As for an amp for 3 zones, most mainstream amps will do 1 or 2 zones. Sounds like you need a true multiroom amp here.
