There are currently 2 obviuous scam adverts in the BMW K series bikes section, and the Honda S2000 section.
The vehicles advertised are obviously too cheap. The 'seller' says that they can be contacted by email only.I have reported both ads.The 'seller' wants email addresses that they can then attempt to hack in to.
The Honda advert uses the name of a garage in an attempt to look authentic.
Could 'Pistonheads' just kill these ads off at source?

It is a problem to us but sadly there are a few hundred to remove, report and deal with.
Away from the forums we are removing all ads, putting automated systems in place to stop the fraudsters from resubmitting ads and are blocking other entry points used by scammers. They are a sophisticated lot, and once one route is blocked they do their best to find another way, but we have methods in place that will stop the latest attempts.
In the meantime, if you see problem ads please help us by reporting them to us. Thanks
