Aaaaaargh another rattle

Finally found my marbles a couple of weeks ago, managed to get home for the weekend so took beastie out for a blatt.... another feing rattle. Sounds like the exhaust, somewhere around the middle of the car, disappears above 40mph (well becomes inaudible anyway). Dropped into the local tyre boys half an hour ago and got her up on the ramps, nada.... nothing... everything as it should be.... Has to be something loose inside the silencers Silencers have had all the silencing wool stuff removed. Hey ho... Wonder how long I can live with it for before breaking into the (already mullered) car fund...

Hve you over tightened the exhaust mounting bushes. (the rubber parts)
I had a similar rattle at around 1800 rpm which then disappeared as revs increased.
Loosened of the bolts that hold chassis plate to exhaust, problem solved.

You may find the exhaust bolt to the engine is missing ,thats how mine was !
