Damaged or vandalised?
Discussion
Discovered one of my front tyres looking like this a couple of days ago.
Now given that I've had the car two weeks and its my first with 18 inch wheels I've been absolutely paranoid about kerbs etc for fear of scuffing my wheels. I've also cleaned the car five (I know
) times since I bought it so I'm pretty sure it wasn't already like it.
I'd actually prefer that it was me that damaged the tyre somehow but I can't think how or when. Just wondered what peoples opinions were on whether this looks like deliberate damage?

Good.
I honestly don't remember hitting anything, kerbs, potholes, whatever. You know how paranoid you are with a new (used) car and I've been doubly cautious because of the low profile tyres.
But would much rather it was damage because if it were vandalism someone might do it again (and it's got new tyres now!) so that's a relief.
Thanks all, that's put my mind at rest.
