Frustrated with Dealers - In the market for a Vantage

After yet another wasted journey (5 hours in the car today) to view an AM Vantage which was not as described, I thought it was worth a punt on the AM forum....

I am in the market for a (circa) 06 4.3.... My budget is circa £34-36k. Ideally after a sub 40k mile car with full AM service history. Essentials would be powerfold mirrors (it won't fit in the garage without them), Xenons and Heated Seats.

Preferred colour Onyx Black or Meteorite Silver...

If there are any PH'ers considering selling their Vantage then feel free to PM me. I am a serious buyer and can move quickly for the right car.

Not just AM im afraid, some dealers seem to have a vivid imagination when it comes to condition and espcially what constitutes a full service history.

Quick update on this. I had contact from a few PHers and have subsequently bought up a lovely 56 plate with 20k miles, full AMSH, the colour and spec I wanted and 18 months AM platinum warranty.

The seller was a private individual and the experience was an absolute pleasure from start to finish!

Anyway, yet again PH has proved to be a place full of helpful and genuine people - I love you PH (almost as much as I love my new Vantage

I found speaking to the Aston dealers terrible, almost like they wanted you to beg them to let you buy the car, no calls back, no reply to emails etc etc. I am used to dealing with the Porsche guys, who, lets face it are amoungst the worst, so bad, it's one of the reasons I have now changed to Aston (pick her up next week...

However, I got speaking to Stuart over at Murray Motors in Edinburgh, who has been a rare find in the motor trade. Exceptional service, understanding and TBH just what you would expect from a high end brand. Lets hope that the hand over goes well and the car is all I am expecting.
