need some advice from you boys on here of high breeding
what a range rover would be like to have as a third car to keep the cerb company...and for those who thought s
te spongys selling it.......never.I have recently started a new job so my daily driver is pedal power.....but we still need a workhorse for family trips and a monthly trip to falmouth to take supplies to my youngest who starts uni later this year. Now we will run the cerb down on occasions and wifeys z3 but will mainly use the new motor....my question is what are they like with reliability issues, and how easy are they to work on......thinking of the v8(suprise suprise).sorry its not really a cerb thing but i trust you lot more than my mum.

c3ber you are on my wave length cos i am thinking of towing at some point in the future when ahemn the cerb is in bits, and pieces need to be moved around the country.was thinking of getting a trailer to carry cerb to shows when she is finished...but i think i would be beaten up and banned from site if this were to happen.
This next fact is actually true, hand on heart we are planning to move this year or very early next year because.....and this is the only reason.......i need a double or bigger garage close to home so my cerb is close at hand at all times.wifey is fed up with me never being home due to the fact my garage is miles from home.We did look into removing our dining room and converting it into a garage.....but it still needed to be bigger. This is all leading up to my body lift.

I have a d3 for family duties (tonight's trip in the cerb was a squash - one child hit his head on the rear screen glass as I went over a bump near Sheffield, oops). The d3 only gets 24 mpg and that's the diesel! I do have chunky tyres and live on a steep hill and my wife had a lead foot. It's a great car. Had it for 5 years now! You can get a v8 version. Quite rare though.
Edited to say she "has" a lead right foot. IPhone keys issue.

Dont bother with a Range Rover. If you think a Cerb saps the wallet. A Range Rover will do it twice over.If you wont to buy something from the LR stable then buy a Defender. No where near as refined. But the f
kers go on forever. And if something does break then they are relativly cheap to repair.
