When you go to look at a car people always say you should consider the owner as much as the car.
I have owned 14cars in total and I have never kept in touch with the previous owner until I bought my Griff off Quinny.

Usually I am moaning about the bodges etc but Quinny is an absoloute star! He really looked after my car and always really helps when I call with stupid questions. I am massively grateful.

Cheers Quinny!

Was interested to see how a spanner man like Quinny would get on with the Aston Martin?

Another lucky one here - Uncle Fester for lavishing all his money on making a great car EPIC (spoke with all 3 previous owners who were very happy discussing info./having a chat - not sure you'd be able to do that with too many cars?).

Paul.

he will be back. he will get bored with the AM. Their build quality of cars is apparently shocking. Prices of AM parts is enough to scare anyone. smile

I seem to recall that he deleated all of his posts after a certain person repeatedly had a go at him about his griff that he sold.

Great shame as he was a wealth of knowledge on these cars and his historic posts always came in handy when researching things. And the person who upset him is now no where to be seen.

Indeed.. nothing on his posts going back close to 1 year... so he's obviously not coming on here now unless he's changed his name??

It wasn't due to other posts but a post he put up and ended up in a disagreement with the moderators, I am sorry not to see him on the forum.

It is a big shame that all of Quinny's old posts have been removed and that he is no longer active on PH for whatever reason. Top bloke who helped a lot of fellow owners with their cars.

shout QUINNY if you are reading this get yourself along to the Growl this year and say hello to your old Griff mates we would love to see you.

I second that, Quinny is a top bloke not a tit and I speak with first hand experience.

I bought a perfect T5 from Quinny and he couldn't of been more honest and helpful. While I was fitting the T5 in my Precat I use to phone him in the evenings with random questions like what's the distance from the chassis to the propshaft and he would run out to his garage with great enthusiasm and call me back with the answer and more.

I really thought his Griff was a keeper by the way he meticulously stripped parts down and repainted everything before reassembling.

Quinny, if you are a lurker, thanks for all your help you're a star and we all want you back.

Best Wishes
Steve Sprint
