How is this kind of dent repaired?

Went to view a car today and it had this small dent. Is there an easy way to pull out such a small ding? I ask as my mrs' car has picked one up in the supermarket last week as well so I'd like to get it sorted

Depends if the dent can be accessed from behind. (no matter how tight access is).

Because that dent is in the middle of a plain bit of panel it is a good candidate (access notwithstanding) for a "cold repair" where the dent is tapped out without using anything that will damage the paint. They usually charge £40 a panel or so (or they did the last time I used one).

I've seen a trick where a pin is glued to the panel and pulled on to bring the dent out after which the glue is dissolved and leaves no mark.

Cold dent repair, it's either bashed out from the back by small hammers/weights on the end of long rods pushed up through the wheel arch or by the aforementioned pin/glue/solvent

Should come out quite easily that.

The dent man will go in with a rod between the body and wing with the front door open,if he cant get access that way he will remove the front indicator to get on it.
