Wow some stunning cars there, especially the V8 V600LM

How many XJ220s were there? Looks loads on the pictures.

The Le Mans won the Elite. Stunning
There were indeed loads of XJ220s - I'd guess at 10 or 12. There was one all the way from Texas. A yellow one left early. I like the look of them but they are a bit long at the back - Le Mans aerodynamics? - even though the rear of the gearbox is a good 3' from the rear of the car. I really don't like the sound they make.

Yep and £350k-£450k each depending on what year they were bought in and still the quickest road Jag built yet!

There will be an Autumn Concours matey, and they're usually quite interesting.

But as Aston is a 'Southern' marque you will need to put mileage on the car

Can pick them up for £150-200k, used to be quite a bit less than that too. Maybe £350k for an TWR XJ220S.

Not an expert on the subject Georgeous but I've never been to one further north than Oxford.

Not sure if it's because the older cars and their owners start to get nose bleeds at this point

My first AMOC event: Membership, courtesy Lockton’s insurance scheme.

I was a bit worried about the over-spill car parking, so arrived early. Waved through for free, with my NT card.

Parked up on the avenue in front of the house! Had a glass of complimentary champagne; my wife confiscated mine after one sip.

Recognized Anne Reed and her husband, from pictures in the entertaining spring edition of AM Quarterly. Had a chat, lovely couple, very welcoming. Then walked around gazing ‘zombie like’ at some fantastic Aston machinery.

I know I’ve just had a lovely day out, curiously without cost, but I can’t see why you wouldn’t want to be part of AMOC.

To be fair, the ownership demographic is heavily weighted to the south.

Went along today to see chums and support Geoff - ex superpolisher of TVRs - seems like he's good enough for Aston too as he won his class and a trophy that looks like it will need a new shelf! What a great day out!

It was a special joint event to celebrate 20 years since the XJ220 was launched. Apparently it was also the largest turnout of XJ220s.
