Girls driving Chimaeras

Im about to buy a Chimaera again. The point is Mrs Ocean loves to drive Fluffy (my Cerb), I mean she REALLY loves to. Chimaeras are heavier in the clutch and gearbox departments, is this something you get used to, pistonhead girlies?

I got used to it within a week or so, even managed without PAS. You just have to think of parking as a mini workout.

Hi Chimgirl, Ill get one with pas I think. Mrs Ocean says dont worry the car is for me, but I so want her to enjoy it too. Her screams of pleasure when she first drove Fluffy will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Wife drives ours all the time. When we bought we tried with and without PAS, she prefered it without.

They are not difficult to drive at all, the only time she prefers to leave it at home is if it's very, very wet or icy.

No, it's impossible for a woman to drive. We don't have either the skills or the strength. I never drive the Griff, I just wait for male friends to come round and take me for a little drive out.

No problems whatsoever. Apart from to manoeuvre at low speed and parking...I haven't got PAS

The driving experience is different but then that's half the fun

Dont think its needed. Claire is tiny and drives the S2 with no PAS without a problem.

I think you'll find that men invented cars before they invented women. They just didn't have the time to build them until the ladies were sufficiently evolved to do all the cooking and cleaning

Everyone that drives a Chim is a girl anyway so it makes no difference.

(yeah I know, it was obvious, but if I hadnt taken a break from my busy schedule to post that comment people would have thought there was something wrong )

My gearbox and clutch felt heavy for about a week.
Now everything else in comparism is like a blamange.

Thanks Jessica. I dont think Mrs Ocean will want to let me drive the thing! It has been an education for her...1.4 polo to 4.0 Cerbera, hmm.. just hope she dosnt get too carried away!

I've only driven one other car without PAS but it wasn't anywhere near as hard work to manoeuvre as the Chim. However, it's not that much of an issue.
