Finding cars for sale

Okay, so where do you look when trying to find a car to buy?

Of course first place to look is Pistonheads itself, plus there's Autotrader, Gumtree, eBay, and Exchange and Mart.

But where else? I have noticed that not all vendors / garages advertise in these really popular places so how do they intend to sell?

Are there major advertising / selling websites I've missed?

I've been given a mission to replace my wifes car so I know what I'm looking for, just not necessarily looking in all the right places!

My order of search is usually this - Pistonheads, relevant owners forum, eBay, Autotrader.

Autotrader / PH / Ebay / Gumtree / Freeads / Local Rag / Owners Forums / Word Of Mouth.

Etc.

Also something called Carpages but that's a bit rubbish compared to some of the others...
