Krill Oil Tablets - Any good?
Discussion
I'm hearing that Krill oil tablets are the Daddy of fish oils but bloody expensive.
Now i'm knocking 40 my joints aint great but i'm wary of popping something down my throat that is a waste of time (and money) and simply is excreted with little (if any) benefit.
Are they any fish oils or can anyone recommend Krill oil tablets or are they along with other oil tablets a waste of money.
Cheers.

If you have a genuine 'complaint' then maybe some form of self medication or even a trip to the GP may be in order, otherwise a balanced diet which includes omega-3 oil rich foods should be fine. Up your oily fish like salmon, mackerel, sardines, etc and some 'healthy' oils for dressings like walnut, avocado and EV olive oil.
NB. IMO, most vegetable oils are not the same thing at all and should/may be avoided; corn oil, rape seed oil, sunflower oil, etc.

I have never heard of krill oil pills, tbh I would just stick with cod liver oil.
I'd look for Omega 3 tablets, rather than pure fish liver oil tablets.Cod liver contains lots of toxins and contaminants, as they'll basically eat anything that moves - they're right near the top of the fish food chain, so a refined Omega 3 oil is much better for you.
Get down to the doc for a statin prescription, really seize those joints up - only joking.
Fish oil from costco is really cheap, supposedly krill oil contains less toxins. They say the krill are plentiful and sustainable however for some reason the oil is way more expensive than fish oil. Also you can get fish oil on the nhs, its called omacor.
Myself I take fermented cod liver oil/butter oil aka weston price, trying to improve my dental health.
