New wheels meeting a fellow PH
Discussion
Finally got rid of the old 14" rims and put some nice new 5 spoke 16" rims on.
Am a bit limited as to the type of wheels available and since no-one will sell rims in twos I had to go for 16 with pirellis all round.
On the road the difference is amazing it finally feels like a real car and I don't have to nurse it everywhere for fear of losing the rear end.
First Journey was to meet Cic450 in the God forsaken pit that is next door city Sharjah, then drag him out for a couple of afternoon refreshments.
Not a bad days work

wheels look fantastic! bearing in mind you were limited with your choice they are some of the best aftermarket wheels I have seen on a chimaera. Lovely
Sharjah - not that good for the afternoon beer really is it!
what an oncredible resource PH proves once again, 2 PHers talking TVR and meeting for a beer in the middle east!

yeah it has aircon but really it is pretty useless, just about keeps the heat stable but never really cools it properly.
Wheels are taiwanese specials only about 45 quid each though the tyres were 150. They seemed well made though and I figured at that price they were worth a punt, they were the only ones he had with the right offset so that sealed it.
Put nitrogen in tyres here for cooler running was a 2 quid option at the tyre dealer with free top ups for a year, seemed a bargain and anything that can reduce the risk of blowouts is welcome especially at this time of year.

Just checked boxes and the wheels are branded Prestige?
