Last night the passenger window on the Griff managed to get stuck in the down position!

Normally this would not be a problem as the car would be securely tucked away in the garage at night with no need for the windows to be up - and I could go about getting it fixed at my leasure.

Unfortunately I was planning to drive upto the Lake Distict in it today - which means being able to secure the car once I get up there.

After swapping the window switches around & poking around behind the door speaker - all to no avail - I decide to take the car unannounced to Austec first thing this morning.

The fact that the window all the way down means it is very difficult to get at the retaining bolts to get the trim off - eventually 'Little' Paul practically dismantles the whole darn thing to remove the slid & the apparently burnt out window motor.

With this removed it is possible to use some wood to 'chock' the window in the up position as a temporary fix - this enabling me to go to the Lake District this afternoon as I will now be able to secure the car!

Thanks Guys

Now All I need do is wait for the replacement part so that I can have a working window ( or as working as they ever get on TVRs )
