Is that a spoiler, or does it reduce drag by effectively lengthening the car?

Does change the rear of the car. Could it be a special part made by the factory at the time for that race series? Guess a call to Hinckley could clear up the question.

It will be to add downforce - high pressure (ish) above and lower pressure below...though not a huge increase in drag.

May also be useful to keep the bevvies on after the race.
