What baby seat for a 3R?

Any you guys found a decent car seat for a toddler, aged 2-3years?

Hoping I can order online and avoid Halfrauds.

for my 2yr old in my 3R. It has a very high safety rating, it's light and fits really well. Although I usually put a folded towel down to level the seat out a bit, but its not essential.

got a nice recaro sport for my little man,1 of the safest around and cheaper than some of the others and its fully adjustable as they get older with removable sections making it good till up to 12 yrs,try 1 out at halfrauds or mothercare for fit and taste(few colour combos available) got mine online for around£145

i have a fisher price one that fits the seat nicely

if you go to toys r us - they will let you try it in the car before you buy

make sure it is not too wide so it will fit nice and snug

or - you could strap the seat to the rear clam

Not wanting to be a kill-joy but I was told the fastener on our cars is too long for almost all child seats. Apparently it's the buckle/fastener that is the weakest part of your seat belt. It has good loading strength vertically but not laterally. When fitting a child seat, you don't what the buckle pulled over at an angle, hope this makes sense.

If I get you correctly, this is one of the reasons I went for the Kiddypro. You use the seat belt to strap both child and seat in, by having a bolster in front of the child across hips upto the chest. Only a very large adult would keep the part the seat belt slots into at a straighter angle (pointing towards windscreen). Also meant to be better in a frontal impact by limiting head travel. The only better option would be to have rear facing.

Dam I feel old discussing baby seats!

You can fit different buckle retainers, my car seems to have very solid retainers that don't protrude past the side of the seat. I'd not noticed they were different until I'd seen a few others.

Both good points and in cars like ours you need to take every precaution when transporting little ones. Mine is coming up three but still haven't taken her out in it. I know she would love it, but my car seat doesnt fit well enough for me to feel happy taking her.

Plenty of sites that sell them and deliver. I found a local store that had them in stock near where I work, as there are a variety of colours and materials.

if you have harnesses in the noble you can also strap the baby seat using those as well
