Hi guys hope someone can answer my query.
Went to get out of the car this morning and realised that the radio/ handbrake light were still on, after further investigation I realised that the ignition is still live even after pressing the red button.
I've disconnected and reconnected the battery and also the black ignition box in the boot but neither have had any effect.
I turned the stereo of using the units button but when I reopened the drivers door the stereo turned back on!
Any thoughts please? I'm miles from home and I'm concerned the battery will drain whilst I'm working, I do realise that I could disconnect to save this from happening but I'm intrigued as to why this is happening.
Car is a 2000 sp6

The car is trying to tell you that it is a nice sunny day and it doesn't want to be sitting in a car park. biggrin

Stuck relay? Try pulling some out of fuse box in boot, if no joy pull some fuses. Your battery will go flat quite quickly. Best of luck

What a day that was! New relay ordered, new battery fitted as existing one was drained by relay (was 5 years old so needed replacing)
Drove home went to get out and solenoid has gone so had to use red emergency exit ....... Love and hate are emotions right? !!
