You may remember the long running saga of the guy that punched me in a road rage incident almost a year ago now.

Well he was found guilty at the start of this month and a decision was made on his sentence yesterday...

...he got 150 hours community punishment order.

Phil

Edited coz I p*ss smelled incident...

Not sure ... I mean I didn't really want him banged up for it but then again there was quite a sheaf of previous offences passed from the prosecution to the Magistrate once he had been found guilty.

No idea really of what 150 hours community punishment would involve or - more to the point - given he has a number of previous offences (but none of them for assault), whether the 150 hours will actually mean anything to him or whether he'll even do them.

That'll teach him, not. Yet another example of our complete joke of a legal system. The question you have to ask yourself Bass is 'will this stop him punching another innocent motorist in the future?' I should imagine the answer is a definate 'NO'.

Oh well, at least it's another conviction on his record for what it's worth. Hopefully you've got over it now, must have been very shocking. I hope you've contacted the Criminal Injuries Compensation people by the way......
