XKR steering/front end 'sharpness'

Hi all,
I am a great fan of my XKR but I am thinking that the steering / front end may not be as sharp as it could be. I am about to replace the track rod ends as the originals have juts had their `12th birthday. Anything else I can do that does not require a mechanic and a 10 tonne press?

Maybe all the bushes are on their war out

I've fitted Polly Bushes, that helps

I've also done many other things like completely differant springs and shocks
But then that's getting into big money

4 wheel laser geometry check is well worth doing, but only on a car in good condition and by somebody who really knows how to use the equipment properly.
