I've heard that they're closing the road on Friday this year, prior to it opening one way. Last year it was Saturday morning, anyone live over there and have a definitive answer?

Mad Sunday Tony. Isn't Mad Friday traditionally when the building trade goes bananas on the lash just before Christmas?

Yes.......that is correct, they are closing it Friday 25 May ...when it re-opens it will be one way until after the TT period

please shoot a few pictures/Videos for us and a trip report afterwards....I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

We have been visiting the IOM (for the TT) for the last 11 years on a Motorbike, I love the place but will be missing it this year
