Russell Bulgin
Discussion
I don't know if anyone else spotted this in Autocar last week (and sniffpetrol.com), but respected journo Russell Bulgin died last week after losing his battle with cancer. Anyone who has read Car, CCC, Autocar or any of the other publications he contributed to, will be familiar with his particular style of writing. He was not always to everyone's taste, but I for one enjoyed his work, the last of which appeared in last week's Autocar.
Though it is an over-used word, he truly was unique. A great shame.

I quite agree. Interesting, highly-intelligent car writers are few and far between. Bulgin wrote with real flair, and was never afraid to stick his neck out.
This came as a nasty shock, i find i come to rely on things and people; i take them for granted. Bulgin was part of my world, and while i never thought about it until i read the obituary, that does nothing at all to lessen the blow.
Rest in Peace
