I am surprised to see Martin's stunning Griff up for sale in the classifieds after the extensive rebuild work.

Are you getting another Tiv Martin?

One of my favouritist Griffs. IMO its colour scheme and spec are spot on.

Ahhh the other deserter... wink

I am surprised to see yours up there as well Ant. There does seem to be a trend of completing a full restoration and then selling up confused

Are you coming to the Growl this year... it would be great to see the Tam.

Might be worth taking the Griff and sticking a for sale sign in it if you have not sold it by then.

Hi all,

Thanks for the compliments about the car. We really like the colour combination as well, and the anthracite coloured 4 stud RL7's just finish it off nicely we always thought. It does sound a bit bonkers to spend so much time - and money - on refurbishing and improving the car and then getting rid, but its now looking like it'll be turned into a deposit for a house move.frown

I've no plans on buying another TVR at present, but when budget allows in future I would definately consider another Griff, possibly an accident damaged one as a doo-er upp-er or track animal though.

On the subject of tracks, one of the things I really wanted to do was to take the Griff on track, but alas its not to be. What is somewhat frustrating is that the BNG is being held about an hour and a half south of me this year at an aero club and that would have been an ideal opportunity to track it.

Thanks for the help and the laughs along the way.

Cheers

Marty

Shame to see you leaving Griff ownership Marty but good luck with your new venture.

I have to say your Griff is a credit to you and must be one of the best looking ones out there imho. I`m sure it wont take long to sell.
