Ford Escort MkIII

If it's in good condition then £1250 sounds reasonable.

What's the mileage and condition?, I sold my mint (and i mean mint) B reg 1.3 L with 43000 miles last year, It struggled to reach my reserve and i ended up selling it for £800 after 4 weeks of trying.
Mileage and condition is everything on these Escorts and automatics are the least desirable unfortunately.

That estate looks fantastic. Great to see these.
OP, it's like anything, and though it's a crap meaningless cliche; it's worth what someone will pay for it. If you're not in a rush and put it in the right places you might get your $1250, though it'd want to be timewarp for that.
I'd like it myself but I'm looking for an Alfa GT JTD and can't justify 2 cars.

Apologies for the thread hi jack, but what does the panel think this is worth?
99k genuine on the clock, 1117cc economy model, solid car (always been garaged), 3 previous owners, everything works as it should:

Blimey, the old Valencia OHV engine - with the VV carburettor. Iirc, the basic cars had fixed position vinyl seats as well....?99k genuine on the clock, 1117cc economy model, solid car (always been garaged), 3 previous owners, everything works as it should:

An 1100 Estate isn't desirable as such but would be good signwritten for a small business wanting something a bit different. The Escort Vans have all but gone now.

No VV carb on this one, what a great idea they were An 1100 Estate isn't desirable as such but would be good signwritten for a small business wanting something a bit different. The Escort Vans have all but gone now.

I will have you know this car has adjustable luxury cloth seats and single speaker PB radio with tone control

Aah the old VV wasn't that bad. They just needed the blue rubber diaphpragm changing every 30'000 and the auto choke set up.

The sounds system sounds awesome however and cloth trim is sybaritic. The refinement must be eerie.
