You and i pincer moved him mate and told him to "do one".......he's done one

That Griff forum must be a real bag of laughs with a turd like that fishing on other forums for a fight !!!

Clearly he's made a pratt of himself before as he fessed up to it not being a first offence.

Kangaroo court anyone ??

From past experience, I for one have been shrugged off because it's only a Wedge and not a chim or griff so unfortunately i treat some comment's with the same content as giving.
I had a chim 450, i could push myself to a griff or a tuscan if i wanted to [by selling the wife] but no i enjoy the Wedge better and the Wedgers that i have met have be Top Class and always willing to help.
I am one of these guy's that get on with anyone [i think so,lol] even got friend's with chim's and tuscans.

Hi

Having owned Wedges, Chim and a Cerbera or two, they are all differant, from model to model!

The same goes for the owners!

The basic thing is we all love ower cars and me personely TVR's no mater what model (With in reason) and life's to short to worry about people who appear to be a bit model bias!

As has been said you always get one! biggrin

Hope I'm not gonna get shouted at, but I'm a chim owner, have had a cerb and I just wanted to say that I love all the tvrs. Have no model bias at all. If I had the money i'd probably own an example of every single one. I keep checking the classifieds for wedges and having to stop myself. I can't speak for other chim and the like owners but I'm pretty sure most of us are just car enthusiasts generally. God I want a seac tho. Haha!

The call to the darkside is whispering in your ear..Its devilish charm is beckoning you..From now on everything you look at will be wedge shape..Your head will start to tilt to the left as you consider the possibilities of wedge ownership..Then to the right when you decide to take the plunge..You will start to dream of the wedge demon..Waking from your slumber with a cold shiver..A rush of blood as you look out of your window..But the pain of disappointment runs through yor veins as you realise..You do not own a wedge shaped beast..

Your right Ben we should all get on together !! but some dont, anyway find a SEAC for sale and take for a test drive and you'll be selling your chim with a smile still on your face.

cheers jonny.

I think you might be right. I need to resist a while. Only just bought the chim and to be honest, I'd like to build myself a little collection. Haha! I seem to think I've got more money than I actually have, but it's always nice to live the dream isn't it!!!

Never fear Dave, got his number and his hairdresser hostage !!

Oh and by the way, i brought a chimpanzee into the brotherhood of wedgers, and despite it taking a while, i think they all reckon him a good guy.
BUT......he knows his boundaries, and (i think) he feels this forum is the friendliest of all !!

Guys

I was in three minds last night when I saw this.

1) Ignore it
2) Report abuse
3) Post a reply

I've settled on 3)

Let me just say I live, breath, eat & drink TVRs. I absolutely love them all, Wedges included.(having supported such events as BBWF at Ettington)

Sorry if I caused any offence, t'was intended as light hearted banter. I for one enjoy having the p*ss ripped out of me on the Griff forum, and I guess I forgot that on t'internet quips can be taken to heart.

It kind of escalated really. My first post was an innocent "you might want to think Chim, cos they're a bit newer". Never even occurred to me that might be offensive.

When someone then poked me with a stick I reacted, still I thought in good heart.

Anyway, sorry to all, 100%. Can we shake electronic hands?

And for the record:

1) My name is not Nancy (nor am I)
2) I do not carry eating irons up my bottom

Yours very humbly, true friend of all things (and people) TVR.

I can understand, and hope you still come along to BBWF in June and see and hear the best TVR's around!
