Tea for two @ Cliveden £550.00 ... anyone been?

I am not suggesting that I am considering this, but found it whilst Googling the Cliveden watching the Apprentice last night.
My attention was drawn to the £100 Sandwich!

Now I know that there are many company directors / owners on here with huge expense accounts, I just wondered if anyone had tried it?

Insanity.

But they do have a very, very nice lunch menu for 28 quid a head - and a £3.50 surcharge if you want the rather spectacular cheese board instead of a desert.

Been there many times when in the UK.

Overrated - food is ok-ish, staff young & from Eastern Europe. I prefer traditional SW1 clubs.
