I'm day shift tomorrow, meaning an early start. Meaning leaving around 0555hrs. And coz it's gonna be soooooo nice I'm taking Thunderpants.

I'm sure the neighbours are all part of the "appreciation to Si's TIV society". Thankfully for them my shift patterns and the weather means they probably don't get to hear enough of it.
That will change.

I just know at 0605 hrs I'll get a text from "she who shall be obeyed"
saying it sounded nice. Cool Wife.

Well, I took the TIV to work.. Moved the everyday cars, opened the garage. Slowly and quietly (if there's such a thing) out the garage.. Then took off slowly, changing gear at 1200 revs - upto to 4th... The boom echoed off all the houses. Nice!!!!

So around 10am her indoors called me, I heard you go out, move the cars, open the garage, move the TIV. Come back in and hang the keys up, bang the front door closed and then bang the TIV door, then take off up the road.. I had to ask, did I wake you then.. At 0550am... LOL. She didn't appreciate that I changed gear at 1200 revs to stay quiet..

Who cares..

When I went back out to the car at the end of my shift, the baking heat had heated the car so much the interior mirror was on the gearbox tunnel.. I cared not a jot, I put the hood down while the car idled, then I took the long way home..
