My take on the Ultima Dash
Discussion
Hi Randy
Looking good. Those that go the standard Ultima interior route have no idea how much work is involved in creating your own interior.
You will find the carpet on the top of your luggage pods will get very damp if you use the car in the wet. When you open the door that area gets soaked!!!

Thank you all for your comments. No not that tall. I tried to keep the top lip to the dash no higher than the top of steering wheel. I too had/have concerns about losing visibility. The truly best view of all is how Ultima designed the car. Sitting in the car looking out it appears to be OK. Time will tell if I will be totally happy with the height. My plan has always been to disassemble the car at some point to paint it. If it proves to be to high, I can cut it down re-glass it and make new CF panels.
Yes, as it was stated changing the dash takes tons of time. Well at least for me it did.
Thanks,
Randy

Craig, very nice job. I like the add-on for the head rest. Is the window a two piece where the bottom can be removed or is that simply partially tinted?Chris
