Alarm Advice Please

I need to get a Thatcham Approved alarm fitted for my insurance company.

I may want to go to door poppers at a later date.

Any advice on make and things to beware of gratefully received please.

I have a TOAD alarm piggy backed with a TOAD tracker.
I was looking at insurance last year and tracking was becoming more of an issue so I had it fitted so as not to limit my choice of future insurer.
My alarm "pops" the door locks just fine and you can pre programme "plips" or rig for silent running (best choice)
also has "service mode" so that it doesn't sound all the time when you are working on the car, although the immobiliser part is non-bypassable.(kinda the point IYKWIM).
