You won't find any 19" ones and the I would suspect the only ones that you'll find will be from a 993S or a turbo. Also the offsets maybe different to a 996 model but not sure on that one.
Assume you've checked the PH classifieds and Fleabay?
Yeah, no joy. Assume you've checked the PH classifieds and Fleabay?
Have got a feeling I'll end up getting all-black ones.
It seems like a challenge to get a set of wheels that don't look like they have come from Halfords!
Funny thing about wheel styles is they will look completely different when fitted with tyres, and different again once on the car.
I like them but I guess only time will tell what they look like when they're on you car. Assume you must have a black car or am I way off track?
Be nice to see a picture once you've fitted them and what did they cost? Did you go for 19's?

Yes, they're going on the 'Black Pig'.
Went for 18" as the tyres i have are nearly new, seemed a waste to put the current wheels in storage with newish rubber on them.
I got them from rimstyle.com for £914 incl. delivery which I didn't think was too bad.
Will post a pic once they're on. And she's been cleaned.

I'm quite liking the 'shark nose' effect created by the deletion of the number plate mount.
Oh, and I think the photographic effect used to produce the model-like look is called 'tilt shift'. In the old days it was done with a specific lense, nowadays done digitally. I may be wrong though...

I think they would look better with a silver rim as per your first piccie.
I thought about it but the cars I have seen with silver rims on that looked good were all silver/grey/white and the contrast of the rim suits the colour of the car. I'll give it a while and see if they grow on me...Some grown-up pictures...

(as long as the rims will accept a 76mm diameter centre cap)
