Had my first driving test termination in 13 years yesterday through mechanical failure. I had been chasing the problem all week and thought it was fixed. The brakes on the clio were sticking on occasionallly, enough to make a real stink and slow the car down.

Hopefully it's fixed now, the dual control pedal linkage had slipped so not allowing the pedal completely back up.

Stripped all the wheels and brakes off again in 33 deg for no reason. Sweaty stuff

Would love to go for a run in the sun but the way she looks at the moment better to go out after dark! You don't realise how much work there is to making the body all good, free from gelcoat cracks, stonechip holes, bumps and inperfections till you start. Looks like a patchwork quilt at the moment. Blobs of filler, patches where its been rubbed down. Been waiting for dry weather to get it done so won't moan. B*****y hot though. How many beers have disappeared out of the fridge??? I can't have drunk all of them............can I? Oh well just have to buy a lot more next time!!

Gotta be ready for the 'Fest'
