So, what's your point? Like I tried to say in the first place, this website is a shadow of it's former self. Therefore, yes, I do tend to spend the majority of my time elsewhere. It's really not that complicated and your 'contribution' is much less significant than my web browsing preferences. Thanks for taking the time to respond anyway. The world is a better place now.

As Peter has pointed out it was light hearted hence the smiley! But if you want a point you started your post by insinuating that Mr Wheelers legacy does not live on on this forum due to the number of posts your post had received! Bit of a sweeping statement for starters and had you not thought that people might not of had anything to add as an off road amphibious vehicle aimed at the military and rescue services does not really have to much in common with your average TVR owner.
Your post gave the impression you were saddened by the fact we had not all jumped up and down with enthusiasm, and if as you said you did not spend most of your time elsewhere you would of noticed this topic had already been covered not to long before you posted!!!
Nothing against MR wheeler and what he did for TVR bar maybe not selling to LT and instead selling to some Russian playboy who then run the company into the ground bringing on the demise of one of this country's finest sport car manufacturers! but heh thats just mho and i that don't count for much!
You tend to get back in life what you put in, and in your case on here thats not much so you should not be to surprised by my post, anyway if you think its a shadow of its former self[ a point i wont argue] and you spend most of your time elsewhere why bother?
I personally love the knowledge, banter and most of all great friends i have met since joining! You reap what you sow

So, to summaries; your post above is an over-winded, badly written version of my original post (the one your original post responded to). Same point. And my response to your original post still stands.... What has the number of posts that I have made got to do with anything? Including your ramblings above. But if you want a point you started your post by insinuating that Mr Wheelers legacy does not live on on this forum due to the number of posts your post had received! When I first enjoyed this website, many years ago. It was a thriving source of feedback from the kind of people that had 50K to spend on a car. Indeed, it (pistonheads) owes a lot to the popularity of the TVR marque, in terms of its infancy/early development. Now it seems to be a space occupied by a few enthusiasts with 15K to spend on a mid-life crisis - penis extension. Completely different demographic. I suspect this is the reason why you enjoy the 'knowledge' and 'banter' as much as you do. Its probably also the reason why I have lost interest.
I'm sure you will feel obliged to respond to this latest post of mine. However, from the moment you started to type, I've never before been subjected to such poor 'banter' and I shall refrain from visiting this page again. It, and you in particular, are really boring and pointless.
Putting an acid house head at the end of a post is not a good indication of a sense of humor. My joke remains to be acknowledged by you.

When you first enjoyed this website all of three years ago i can see just how much you enjoyed it by your history!
You further mug yourself off by trying to be-little and deride people on here by the amount of money or lack of it that they have to spend on a car! You fool!
I'm not normally one to blow my own trumpet but in your case i'll make an exception, if you bothered to look at my profile something you might not have even worked out how to do judging by your contribution to PH you would of noticed 50K [your fig] does not even buy my fuel you
You lost the minute you came back
I'm off back to talk to my mates with 15k to spend on a mid-life crisis penis extension, you know the ones who actually own a TVR or two!
I doubt you even own a car? well one with wheels! Did you get that joke scousser????

I get the impression he's been reading more than posting, and probably for a lot longer than when this account was created. Many are readers rather than posters. Ive not been here long enough to know what it was like in the olden dayes, even though I read the forums and dreamed the classifieds for years before I 'joined'.

All I will add to this thread is you shouldn't judge a person by their profile.....

A persons profile and what they say on here is all you can judge a person on here by, unless you have the good fortune to meet them.
I know nothing about Mr Royale bar that he took great offense to my post and then wants to slate all modern day users of PH for being mid-life crisis penis extension material! Oh and only being able to afford 15K motors! I personally feel however much you spend on a TVR at least you are contributing to the continuation of the mark [Mr Wheelers legacy] and the people who service and Mod them!
I'm in no way offended and enjoy the abuse

But please Dave do tell us more or was it just a penis extension tease????
